At the Village Historique Acadien Caraquet in northern New Brunswick, we had the opportunity to gain insight into the lives of the Acadians who had escaped deportation.
Music, theater, dance, and the simple food of the Acadians provide us with a picture of Acadia, giving us the feeling of being right at the heart of the lives of the people in this region of New Brunswick.
The view of Lake Winnepesaukee's landscape from the terrace and many of the rooms at Castle in the Clouds is breathtaking. From there, we look down on the various bays of the lake with the unpronounceable name.
