Hotel in the center of Dublin

As a hotel in central Dublin, it succeeds Brooks Hotel *, its guests an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of Dublin to offer. This central Dublin hotel's location is unbeatable: just steps from the shops of Grafton Street, Trinity College and the pubs of Temple Bar, it's hard to find a more central place to stay in Ireland's capital city. Nevertheless, a good night's sleep is assured, because the Brooks Hotel, which belongs to the Small Luxury Hotels of the World chain as well as to the Manor House Hotels, is hidden on a narrow side street between the main traffic arteries in downtown Dublin. One of the hotels in central Dublin Ireland suitable for visiting the city.

Brooks Hotel in central Dublin - an oasis of calm

We spend a week in this hotel in the center of Dublin and we really appreciate its advantages as we can walk to almost all the attractions that interest us. It is only a few steps to Powerscourt Townhouse Center, an elegant shopping temple that is practically around the corner. And we continue on an alley Bewley's Oriental Café on Grafton Street and on to St Stephen's Green. Going north, we'll reach Trinity College and Dublin's Temple Bar in a few minutes, which we especially appreciate in the evenings. We reach the best pubs in a few steps.

Historic sites such as Christchurch Cathedral, St. Patrick's Cathedral or Dublinia we can also get to know on a walk from this hotel in the center of Dublin. For our visit alone Guinness Brewery and the Old Jameson Distillery we use the green hop-on hop-off buses that offer Dublin city tour passes. We can get off at the places that interest us and then continue to use the bus as long as the ticket is valid.

The location in the center of Dublin

The Brooks Hotel's location isn't the only reason we feel comfortable here, though. The rooms are comfortably furnished with all the amenities we would expect from a 4 star hotel in central Dublin. WiFi, a well-kept bathroom, hair dryer, ironing board, tea maker and much more are included. Our breakfasts, with a choice of Continental Breakfast Buffet and Full Irish Breakfast, will get you off to a great start during your stay. We even like the “infamous” Black and White Pudding, which is similar to our German blood sausage and liver sausage and which we heard so many chilling things about before our Ireland trip. Meanwhile, innovative chefs Irish specialties given a special whistle.

Service at this central Dublin hotel

However, the best thing about our stay at the Brooks Hotel in central Dublin is the people. It doesn't matter whether it's the ladies at reception, the concierge, the waiter in the restaurant or the chambermaid. Each of them greets us with a smile and a few kind words. After a day the restaurant staff knows if we prefer tea or coffee, how we like our eggs and similar details. On the day of our departure it is not a problem to get our room an hour after the check-out time so that we don't have to wait in the hotel lobby for our taxi.

award-winning

So it comes as no surprise that the Brooks Hotel Dublin has been voted one of the top 100 hotels in central Dublin Ireland by the Bridgestone Guide for three years running. Won the 2010 Traveler's Choice Award at TripAdvisor. Well deserved, as we found out for ourselves.
